- 250g butter
- 250g sugar
- 1 pack vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp of lemon juice
- 3 tbsp if cinnamon powder
- 250g baking powder
- 125 ml milk
- 1 tart apple, cored, peeld and chopped
- 125g almond, ground
|Stir together butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, lemon juice and cinnamon powder.|
Now put the wheat flour into a bowl but do not mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Scoop out a hole in the centre of the flour. Add the baking powder into the hole and cover it with a little bit of flour.
Now you can mix everything together. Add the milk now little by little and keep mixing until the batter gets creamy.
Add the almond and the cored, peeled and chopped apple and mix everything again.
Preheat oven to 200 °C.
Pour the batter into a well-greased cake pan.
Place the cake pan on the middle tray of the oven. Bake for about 70 minutes. Jab a fork or thin wood skewer into the cake to test whether it is done. If the fork or wood skewer comes out clean, then the cake is done.
